Geoffrey was my brother, 2 years older than me,we also have a sister,Marie 2 years younger than
me.All our lives we always looked out for each other, fiercely protective of each other, then one
warm sunday morning in march five years ago the phone rang. I knew by the sound of my mam's voice
something was seriously wrong, she told me to get my dad from his allotment, our geoff was in
hospital with serious head injuries.He never regained conciousness and died later that day with all
his family around him.He'd been kicked to death. Our Geoff was an excellant snooker player, was once
yorkshire junior champion,loved Liverpool f.c. loved his family to bits, and was the funniest person
I've ever known. He was unique,no other person like him,he was just 31 when his life was stolen,his
baby daughter just 5 months old, she'll never know her dad. Our Geoff was my best mate, i'm so proud
to be his sister I just wish I'd been there when he needed me most.We all miss you so much Geoff,
